Excel Numbering Formula:
If you want to list numbers in column a, such as 1 in a1, 2 in a2, 3 in a3 and so on all the way to like 1000 or so....,
Use the following formula,
** Put the number 1 in cell A1.
** In cell A2 put the formula +A1+1.
** Copy the formula down as many cells as you need.
This formula can be used in most cases while using serial numbers(s.no). |
