“Cats are no more catching rats.
Lazy louts, they sleep all day,
And want food without delay,
Else they mew and screw us prats!”

Wag not even their tails, shame!”
“How’s your parrot, miss, the same?”
“It can count my faults and tell!”
“What’s wrong with our pets these days?”
“Too much petting, care and love!”
“Tame beasts, oh, our patience plough!”
“Have they learnt man’s wicked ways?”
“Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! What a spark!”
Laughed all, then the chairman blew,
“Let’s now take a topic new,
That is, how to tame a shark?”
