Spring Onion Chicken
Ingredients:
* 800g chicken, cut into boneless cubes
* 1 cup onion, chopped
* ½ cup tomato, finely chopped
* 5 2/3 tbsp mustard seeds
* 2 tsp red chili powder to taste
* Salt to taste
* 2 tsp cumin powder
* 3 2/3 ginger-garlic paste
* ½ cup Spring onion, leaves
Making Spring Onion Chicken
1. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a wok, sauté onion till transparent. Add tomatoes and cook for 10-15 minutes. Keep aside.
2. In a separate wok, heat the remaining oil, add mustard seeds and sauté till they crackle.
3. Stir in the onion-tomato mixture, cook for 3 to 4 minutes. Add the chicken, salt and red chili powder.
4. Cook further for 20 minutes on low heat, till the chicken is done.
5. Mix in the spring onion, cook for 2 minutes.
6. Remove from heat and serve hot, accompanied by any Indian bread.
