How to Fix Runtime Error 555?
Runtime error 555 occurs when you run a program and Microsoft doesn't understand the task. The best fix for this is to uninstall and reinstall the program.
1. Click "Start" and then "Control Panel."
2. Select "Add or Remove Programs." This will load a new window, which displays all the programs installed on your computer.
3. Scroll through the list until you find the program in which the Runtime Error 555 occurs. Click the program and select "Remove." The computer will ask you if you're sure you want to remove the program. Click "Yes."
4. Restart your computer.
5. Place the program's installation disk in your computer. Wait a moment for the installation wizard to load. Follow the prompts to complete the setup. Now open the program and begin to use it again. The Runtime Error 555 should not appear anymore.
