In pain and doubt,
In sorrow when my mind was in doubt
When the moon took the place of the sun in the sky
You stood by me.

When my well ran dry,
When there were no tears left to cry,
When I needed you so much ,
To hold, to grasp, to grip, to touch.

In pain, in agony and deep despair
When shadow casted beams unclear
When all my hopes and dreams were gone
