Drad Dal Dosa - Andhra Recipes
Crispy Black gram Pan Cake
INGREDIENTS:-
1) Urad dal : 250 Grams;
2)Broken (ravva)Boiled rice : 150 grams;
3)Curd : 1 cup;
4)Salt : To taste;
4) finely chopped onions : 1 cup;
5) Finely chopped green chillies : 1/2 cup;
6) finely chopped ginger : 2 spoons;
7) oil : 100 ml;
*** PROCEDURE:-
1) Soak urad dal for 4-6 hours ' grind into smooth dough and leave over nigtht;
2) To this add sour curd,salt and boiled rice ravva and mix thoroughly ;
3) Mix the chopped chillies, green chillies and ginger together;
4) Add 2 spoons of oil to the frying pan and spread 2-3 serving spoons of urad dal and spread as pan cake;
5) Sprinkle the onion-green chilly-ginger mix over the pan cake. Roast each pan cake both sides adding oil and putting green chilly mixture on the top.
** Serve hot with hot and sweet tomato sauce **
