Broccoli And Spinach Soup Recipe

Ingredients:


• 3 Green Onions, finely chopped
• 3 tbsp Butter
• 1 pkg (10 oz.) Frozen Spinach, chopped
• 1 pkg (10 oz.) Frozen Broccoli Spears, slightly softened
• 2 cans (10¾ oz. each ) Chicken Broth
• 3 tbsp All-purpose Flour
• Salt, to taste
• Pepper, to taste
• ½ cup Half and Half
• 3 tbsp Lemon Juice, optional

How to make Broccoli And Spinach Soup:


• Take a saucepan and heat butter in it.
• Add greens onions and cook until they turn soft.
• Add all-purpose flour, salt and pepper to it and mix well.
• Now, put chopped spinach, chicken broth and broccoli spears in it and mix well again.
• Cover it and cook it on simmer flame for 5 to 8 minutes or till the vegetables are tender.
• Add half and half and cook for 4 more minutes.
• You can make it a little tangier by adding lemon juice.
• Your soup is ready to be served.
