A high-voltage action in the offing

Chennai: Murali Vijay's destructive batting has added another dimension to the Chennai Super Kings line-up. Psychologically, it has taken the pressure off the three big guns — Matthew Hayden, Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Suresh Raina.
The CSK batting has the firepower but the host will be wary of its bowling against the in-form Mumbai Indians. Amidst the run feast, the lion-hearted Doug Bollinger impressed against the Rajasthan Royals but a few others need to lift their performances.
Well-rounded side
Sachin Tendulkar's men are riding a crest. Close to a semifinal berth with 14 points from eight matches, the outfit represents a clear and present danger. It is a well balanced side with depth and options.
And the Chennai crowd treats Tendulkar as one of its own. The extent of home support — rather vociferous in the earlier matches — for CSK will be interesting to watch in Tuesday's game of the Indian Premier League.
Back from the brink after four successive defeats, CSK has rallied under pressure. The side has eight points from nine games and desperately seeks a victory in its next home game.
