Army Green beats MEG

Madikeri: Army Green posted its second successive win when it scored a 2-0 win over MEG in the hockey Super Division league here on Monday.

Z. Singh sounded the boards in the 49th minute while Sairaj added to the tally in the 67th.

MLI (Belgaum) got the better of ASC (Bangalore) 3-1. Ganesh Patil scored a brace for MLI in the 47th and 50th minute after Sunil Kumar had put his team ahead through a penalty stroke in the 21st. Chittiappa scored the lone goal for ASC.

Sports Authority of India scored a thumping 5-2 win over Centre of Excellence.
