Showing total messages count in Thunderbird

In Thunderbird it only shows total unread messages near each folders.



But to see total messages too alongside the folders follow the steps:



      *    Goto Tools --> Options --> Advanced tab

      *    Check out "show expanded columns in folder pane"

      *    Click "OK"

      *    Now click the icon next to "Name" in folder pane

      *    Select the "Total" from the drop down

      *    It will show you the total number of messages in each folders.
