Indian batsman Sachin Tendulkar celebrates his century in Colombo on September 14. Tendulkar compiled his 44th one-day century as India scored 319-5 in the tri-series one-day final against Sri Lanka at the Premadasa stadium on Monday
Sachin scored his 44th ODI hundred, his 8th hundred against Srilanka..equalling his 8 hundreds against Australia. Sachin also now has scored his highest odi runs against Sri Lanka (2749 runs vs SL)..while earlier his most ODI runs were against Australia (2730 runs).
Big players produce special innings on special occasions. And true to the occasion, Sachin Tendulkar (101) produced his century no. 44 in the Compaq Cup final. The maestro was in sublime form and played a remarkably uninhibited knock and paced it beautifully.
