How to Open an RSD File?

.RSD, RealSQL Database, is a database file format initially created by REALbasic. REALbasic (RB) is an object-oriented dialect of the BASIC programming language developed and commercially marketed by REAL Software, Inc in Austin, Texas for Mac OS X, Microsoft Windows, and Linux.

Step 1:
Open the REALbasic database software program. If you do not own a copy, purchase and download the software at realsoftware.com. REALbasic is available for computers running either the Windows, Mac or Linux operating systems.

Step 2:
Click on "File" in the task bar and select "Open File..." from the menu.

Step 3:
Select your RSD file in the "Open File" dialog box that appears. The REALbasic software will then open the RSD file and extract the appropriate SQL data from the database file.

Step 4:
Save the RSD file after editing it and upload to your online server or a similar backup drive.

Step 5:
Alternatively, you can open a .RSD file by uploading it to your Web server and using a database access program such as phpAdmin to open the file using SQL commands such as "GetFolderItem("filename.rsd")".

NOTE:
Backup all of your computer files before trying to extra data from an RSD file in case it creates a system conflict on your computer.
