Last login date & time in windows xp/vista

Last Login Date and Time in Windows XP or Vista :

As far as I know there is no easy or short way to do this

We have to go to event viewer and view the event logs.

- to go to event viewer press Windows Key & R
type eventvwr and press enter

and look for logs with source as 'Winlogon' under Windows Logs -> Application
