Quartile

In statistics quartile is any of the three values that divides the sorted data set in four equal parts so that each part represents one fourth of the sampled population.
There are generally three quartiles,
first quartile = lower quartile
second quartile = median
third quartile = upper quartile
The difference between the upper and lower quartile is called interquartile range.
