Well Many people finds difficulty in installing apache. But its easy in installing it with the help of XAMPP.
XAMPP stands for
X - Any one of four OS.
A - Apache
M - MySql
P - Php
P - Perl
XAMPP is a standalone server which can be worked on OS Like Linux,Windows,Mac OS and Solaris. Also you can host your own website using the XAMPP. It requires only zip,tar,exe Files for download and run.
