The famous Indian medieval mausoleum Taj Mahal is under a threat of being flooded. The building stands on a bank of the Jamuna River, and the river’s water level is now steadily rising because of heavy rains. Now only a brick ramp separates the historical monument from the water, but if there is more rain, the water may run over it.
Taj Mahal is called “the world’s eights miracle” and is on the UNESCO’s World Heritage list.
