1. Navigate to your Applications folder and double-click TextEdit. Text edit window will opens
2. To open a dialog press COMMAND + O.
3. Navigate to the desired text file and double-click the filename to load it.
4. Click the insertion cursor anywhere in the file and begin typing.
5. Press Command + S to save the document.
