Ban on Bulk SMS before Ayodhya Verdict
Verdict of Ayodhya case / Babri Masjid is coming on 24th September. Ayodhya case is one of the longest case in India. Just before the announcement of the decision of Allahabad High Court on Ayodhya case, Centre has imposed immediate ban on the bulk sms / mms by telecom companies for next 72 hours.
Ministry of Communication & Information Technology with discussion to Ministry of Home Affairs has imposed the ban on bulk sms / bulk mms services till Saturday as the decision is scheduled on Friday. The ban on bulk MMS by Ministry on mobile service providers can be extended if the need arises.
Various Hindu & Muslim leaders have appealed to the people of India to maintain peace and harmony at all cost.
Kalbe Jawwad said, The verdict will not be an opportunity to express happiness or sorrow as this will not be the last judgment in the case,
Government of Centre and states are forced to impose Section 144 (Dhara 144) in the cities which are vulnerable to Hindu-Muslim Riots.
