New Delhi: After his faux pas in the inaugural show on Sunday, slip of tongue seems to be continuing for Commonwealth Games Organising Committee Chairman Suresh Kalmadi who on Tuesday said "Prince Diana" attended the event's opening ceremony.
Giving details on the "spectacular" opening ceremony, Kalmadi told a press conference that "Prince Diana" attended the function where he was to say "Prince Charles".
Princess Diana, who died in an accident in 1997, and Prince Charles had a divorce.
At the opening ceremony, Kalmadi had addressed former President A P J Abdul Kalam as Abdul Kalam Azad. Abul Kalam Azad was a freedom fighter.
Kalmadi said the opening ceremony was watched in all the 71 Commonwealth countries. "Networks in the United States also showed the opening ceremony," he said.
