Santhi Soundarajan an Indian athlete was born in the village of Tamil Nadu in 1981. Santhi won gold medal in the Asian runners Olympics, but her medal was taken away soon after she was ineligible because she failed the gender test, it was said that her reproductive organs did not function in a way that any woman’s organs should.

She has grown up along with other siblings and her parents were always economically unsound, her parents say that she was born a female and grew up as a female and has always been a female, and also taken previous gender tests and didn’t fail them. Examiners say that Santhi Soundarajan has only previously started eating well balanced meals, but also has been seen taking male hormonal pills and developed doubtful characteristics and recommended to take a gender test.

Soundarajan has unluckily suffered an unpleasant discrimination through the media, and the official who leaked incomplete outcome of her gender test to the media was out of order in what he did and breached privacy rules of the games. Her situation has nothing to do with her diet and doubtful feature are not something that have inexplicably started appearing. There is a multitude of gender variant conditions that exist amongst the human race which are all too often simply overlooked or ignored, particularly in the sporting world.
