Suhas Khamkar, Mr. Asia Bodybuilding Championship Winner

Suhas Khamkar, who won the gold and Mr. Asia bodybuilding championship at the Asian Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness, met Shiv Sena Chief Bal Thackeray soon after he landed in Mumbai.

“My most memorable moment will be when I saw the Tricolour flying high among the flags of all Arab countries that were the major participants at the event. I can't put into words how I felt when my name was announced,” said Suhas Khamkar.

Suhas Khamkar is a Central Railway employee, who was first to win the Mr. Asia title and gold in 20 years. The event was held in Bahrain where Suhas participated in the 75 kg category.

Besides, another Indian Heera Lal also won a gold in the 65 kg category.

His diet items include five kilograms of fruits, 700 grams of fish, and 1.5 kilograms of chicken. Besides, he also imports few supplements from the United States.

On his meeting of Shiv Sena Chief Bal Thackeray, he said “I am a follower of Balasaheb. I'm here to seek his blessings after winning this prestigious title.”
