Peepli Live director miffed with Aamir Khan

All is not well with Peepli Live director Anusha Rizvi and Aamir Khan. The film has been nominated as India's representation at the Oscars, but Anusha says she will not lobby for Peepli Live in the US.

"I thought this was the last question about Aamir Khan," that's Peepli Live director's response to almost everything to do with her much talked about film and, of course, its producer Aamir Khan.

It's been a dream run for the first time filmmaker, whose smart satire is India's submission for the Oscars. But despite that, and the critical and commercial success it has seen, Rizvi seems less than pleased.

"I will not be going to promote Peepli Live in USA. It's just America's national awards, right?" said Anusha.
