11th November is Memorial Day, and on this day people will be remembering all the brave men who have given their lives during the World War, only to sustain our very future. Memorial Day or Armistice Day is observed on the 11th November every year because of the armistice that was signed between the allied countries and Germany during the World War 1.
As this day also marks the end of the war, and is considered a very important day in the history of this independent earth. To provide due respect to this day, people in the allied countries keep a moment of silence at the 11th hour on the 11th November every year.
During the World War, thousands and in fact millions of people had lost their lives in battle, which even includes young men below the age of 18. It was a horrifying experience that the soldier during those years underwent. It is our duty today that we should understand the importance of this day, so that we alway remember them.
