Prince William and Kate Middleton Engagement: The British Prince and his girlfriend since college will get married next spring or summer, Prince William has informed the Queen and other members of his immediate family.

William, 28, eldest son of the heir to the throne Prince Charles and the late Princess Diana, and Kate Middleton 28, daughter of self-made entrepreneurs, engaged while on holiday in Kenya last month, his father's office said Tuesday according to Reuters London report.

Their marriage will take place 30 years after the wedding spectacular but ultimately disastrous for Charles and Diana.

There are no wedding plans at the moment according to UsMagazine report "Right now there (are) absolutely no wedding plans taking place. That is the truth," the royal diamond engagement ring has not been officially unveiled.
