Google has launched Maps Labs, which a new set of groundbreaking add-ons for its popular map service that offers a new experience to explore places that are near or far. Google Maps Labs is an incubator, which features for the Google Maps same as Gmail Labs.

Google Maps Labs provides the features are:-

1. "Drag'n'Zoom" feature will let you draw a box on the map to zoom-in.

2. "LatLng Tooltip" feature shows the latitude and longitude of where the mouse pointer positioned.

3. "Aerial Imagery" feature is available only for convinced areas.

4. "Where in the World Game" will test your ability for world geography with satellite imagery.

5. "What's Around Here?" feature display the top results in the current view.

6. "Smart Zoom" feature will check in advance what imagery exists before you zoom in.
