Thyagaraja Aradhana 2011

Thiruvaiyaru Thyagaraja Aradhana is the most popular Carnatic Music Festival held at Thiruvaiyaru in Thanjavur district of Tamil Nadu. Thiruvaiyaru Thyagarja Aradhana 2011 date is 24 January. The five-day music festival begins on 21 January and ends on 25 January 2011.

It is initiated to pay tribute to the legendary musician and poet saint of Tamil Nadu, Shri Thyagaraja Swamy. It this music concert most of the leading Carnatic music maestros perform in front of thousands of classical music lovers. Year by year, the number of fans participating and watching Thyagarja Aradhana concert has been increasing substantially. In 2011, it is 164th Thyagaraja Aradhana utsavam.

Another famous Thyagaraja Aradhana is held in Cleveland (Ohio state in USA) during April – May in 2011.
