Easiest method to auto increment numbers in excel is,
* Just type 1 in the cell A1.
* Move to cell A2.
* Press "="+"Up arrow key from keypad"+"Enter".
* Now you will get 2 to displayed in the cell A2.
* Just drag till the cell you want to auto increment serial number in excel.
