I was reading about him and he has proposed things which he has stated to have discovered are extraordinary.

He played a major role in bringing up AC power systems. Some great things were proposed, like

Wireless Power Transfer - How would it be if it is possible even now. He has worked and it a part of his work might have been the reason of wireless communication.

Death Ray - Hi theory on it is possible and even in the modern day such a weapon could be disastrous on ground battle.

Non Engine Flight - Ion Propelled Aircraft (Theoretical)
