Cpanel/WHM : Could not fetch uid or gid for : root

If you get an error like


"Internal Server Error

Could not fetch uid or gid for "

You can run

/scripts/upcp

and then update the license

/usr/local/cpanel/cpkeyclt

This would fix the issue.



Note that this error will occur if you try to login to cpanel with root as username. As you can not login to cpanel as root.
