Copyrights Removal Request - Google Transparency Report
Google announced they have enhanced the Google Transparency Report to include the removal requests to take down individual search results from showing up in Google.
Google regularly receives requests from copyright owners and reporting organizations that represent them to remove search results that link to material that allegedly infringes copyrights. Each request names specific URLs to be removed, and we list the domain portions of URLs requested to be removed under targeted domains.
Copyright removal requests received for Search in the past month
1,275,273 URLs Requested to be Removed
23,859 Targeted Domains
1,320 Copyright Owners
1,099 Reporting Organizations
Google said they respond to these requests incredibly quickly, often in less than 11 hours.
