Many Ways to Install Windows XP

This is not only install windows XP and also formatting your systems. Everyone knows Formatting systems or installing windows is a very easy process. You know how many ways to install or format your systems?


All are format their systems with installation bootable CD. It is easy, but before you install any operating system, you must backup your important data on C drive, desktop and my documents. Installation CD is the requirement to install windows and change first boot device to CD drive on BIOS setup; this is the one of the best ways to install windows XP.

Second way is installing windows XP using pen drive. In this way before you install windows; first you install “pen drive windows XP” software to pen drive. Make your pen drive as a bootable device and change first boot device to USB Drive and then you start installing.

Another way is using ghost or recovery softwares. Norton Ghost, Symantec Ghost and Acronics software or bootable ghost CDs are used to install windows very quickly; 5 minutes are enough to install windows. For this process you have to install windows first, and then take C drive backup image through these softwares. But if you face any problem with this process, then entire hard disk data will be lost. So don’t try to practical with these softwares. Once you take the backup file, then you can install windows within 5mins.

Last way is using RIS server through LAN (Local Area Network). You can install windows by using this RIS server. This process is used in large companies and colleges. RIS stands for Remote Installation Server. To install windows, first configure RIS server and boot from LAN and install windows.
