"Cannot Create Toolbar" Error When You Enable Quick Launch

Problem:
When you try to enable the Quick Launch or the Desktop bar, or try to create a new toolbar, you may get the error “Cannot create Toolbar”.

Why This Happens ?
This issue may be due to one of the following reasons

Quick Launch folder is missing.
Corrupted DLL files.
Corrupted registry entries.

Solution For ”Cannot Create Toolbar” Problem:
This might happen if the Quick Launch folder is missing in this location:

%Appdata%\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch

To resolve the problem, Go to Start–>Run and type the following command,

IE4UINIT.EXE

The above command creates the Quick Launch folder automatically, if it is missing in the above location. Now, try to enable the Quick Launch bar. If the problem persists, run the following command:

REGSVR32 /i SHELL32.DLL

Restart Windows.Your “Cannot Create Toolbar” problem will be fixed.
