First Of all get a proxy address from here.You can find a good list of Proxies in different categories according to Anonymity level.The proxy IP Address will be looking similar to below figure.Here : is used to seperate IP Address and Port No.
Configure a Web Proxy in Mozilla Firefox:
Open Firefox.
Open the Tools–>Options.
Click the Network –> Connection Settings button.
Check Manual Proxy Configuration.
In the necessary proxy field(s), set Proxy Server address and proxy configuration port.
Example: Proxy server address – 64.29.151.79, proxy server port - 80
Click the OK.
Configure a Web Proxy in Internet Explorer:
Open Internet Explorer.
Open the Tools–>Internet Options.
Click on the Connections tab.
Click on the LAN Settings button.
Check the box next to “Use a proxy server for your LAN”.
In the necessary proxy field(s), set Proxy Server address and proxy configuration port.
Example: Proxy server address – 64.29.151.79, proxy server port - 80
Click the OK.
Configure a Web Proxy in Netscape Navigator:
Select Tools -> Options.
Select “General”.
In the Connections area click the “Connection Settings” button.
Select the Manual Proxy Configuration radio button.
In the necessary proxy field(s), set Proxy Server address and proxy configuration port.
Example: Proxy server address – 64.29.151.79, proxy server port - 80
Click OK.
Configure a Web Proxy in Opera:
Select Tools–> Preferences.
Open the Advanced tab and select Network sub-category.
Click the “Proxy servers” button.
In the necessary proxy field(s), set Proxy Server address and proxy configuration port.
Example: Proxy server address – 64.29.151.79, proxy server port - 80
Click OK.
