S.S. Rajamouli is easily the most sought-after film-maker in the Tamil and Telugu film industries put together nowadays. The director, who made the super-duper hit Magadheera some years back, has delivered another blockbuster hit through his Tamil and Telugu bilingual (titled as Naan Eee and Eegaa respectively) which released a few weeks back.




Not many though Rajamouli would court the kind of success the film has met with. The response to the film from women and children has belied all the expectations which surrounded the film prior to its release in theatres. The film stars Naani, Samantha and Sandalwood’s Sudeep in lead roles and is about how a ‘house-fly’ takes revenge on the villain after the hero is murdered and reincarnates in the form of the insect.

Mouli is extremely delighted that superstar Rajinikanth has appreciated his directorial efforts. “Rajini Sir’s appreciation is the most significant of all the accolades. It’s very difficult to find a true fan such as Rajini Sir; after his appreciation, I feel like having won a most priceless award. Rajini Sir is the one whom I like most in Kollywood and it’s been my dream to direct him in a film.

“I had a golden moment when I met him in person. He’s been my childhood hero and getting appreciated by him means the world to me. Rajini is a wonderful artiste and his appreciation has made me gone mad. If I’m to direct Rajini Sir in a film, it’s enough if he orders me and he doesn’t even need to enter into a formal talks with me about the film,” he concludes.
