India World Cup Victories

Almost all of us are aware that cricket in India enjoys a phenomenal and fanatical fan following. The mass hysteria that builds up when India plays a match, especially of the limited overs kind, has to be seen to be believed. With the victory of the Under-19 cricket team in the World Cup against Australia on their own turf last week, Indian cricket enthusiasts across the world went into a frenzy. And naturally, because after the Indian senior team had a disastrous tour Down Under earlier this year, not many expected the colts to do well on those hard and bouncy wickets. But, the Junior team surprised one and all by their grit and skill in adapting well to those conditions and eventually triumphing in the Antipodes.
