To Change the Recycle Bin Icons open the registry and Navigate to either
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\CLSID\{645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E}\DefaultIcon]
or
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E}\DefaultIcon]
and then modify each string value, Default, Empty, and Full so that each of their values is set to the icon (.ico) you wish to be displayed. Now exit the registry, and restart your computer for the change to take effect.
