One Equal To Zero - Interesting Fact Statement
1 = 0
Proof
Let as Assume, If a = b, Then, a2 = a * a a2 = a * b (if, a = b) Subtract, b2 on both sides, a2 - b2 = (ab) - b2 (a+b)(a-b) = (a-b)b (a+b) = b (b+b) = b (If, a=b) 2b = b 2 = b / b 2 = 1 2 - 1 = 0 1 = 0
Dividing by zero is not permitted in maths. So when proving a theorem we should check that the unknown denominator variable should not be zero.
