Multiplication by tables of 13 to 19 trick - Vedic Maths
Take any number multiplication by tables of 13 to 19.
Rules:
Rule 1 : In table value of RHS last digit assign as X.
Rule 2 : Putting dot on both the sides. Dot value consider as a zero.
Rule 3 : Start from RHS dot, taking 2 digits at a time. X multiply by the second last digit and adding the last digit. If you have carry value, carry the next pair.
Rule 4 : Write answer in reverse order.
Example: 634 X 17
Rule 1 : X = 7
Rule 2 : .634.
Rule 3 : Take dot and 4, (7x4) + 0 = 28 =
8 (carry 2)
Take next pair, 4 and 3, (7x3) + 4 + 2 (carry) = 27 =
7 (carry 2)
Take next pair, 3 and 6, (7x6) + 3 + 2 (carry) = 47 =
7 (carry 4)
Take next pair, 6 and dot, (7x0) + 6 + 4 (carry) =
10
Rule 4 : Write answer in backwards,
634 X 17 = 10778
