Multiplication by tables of 113 to 119 trick - Vedic Maths
Take any number multiplication by tables of 113 to 119.
Rules:
Rule 1 : In table value of RHS last digit assign as X.
Rule 2 : Putting 2 dots on both the sides. Dot value consider as a zero.
Rule 3 : Start from RHS dot, taking 3 digits at a time. X multiply by third last digit is added to the sum of last and second last digit. If you have carry value, carry the next 3 digits.
Rule 4 : Write answer in reverse order.
Example : 23 X 119
Rule 1 : X = 9
Rule 2 : ..23..
Rule 3 : Take 2 dots and 3, (9x3) + 0 + 0 = 27 =
7 (carry 2)
Take next 3 digits, dot, 3 and 2, (9x2) + 3 + 0 + 2 (carry) = 23 =
3 (carry 2)
Take next 3 digits, 3, 2 and dot, (9x0) + 2 + 3 + 2 (carry) =
7
Take next 3 digits, 2 and 2 dots, (9x0) + 0 + 2 =
2
Rule 4 : Write answer in backwards,
23 X 119 = 2737
