Here the table came from following simple trick,
Example :
Consider this year (2013),
Jan 1st - Tue - 0 (Every time Jan is zero - starting)
Now Increment the week day table like,
Tue = 0, Wed = 1, Thu = 2, Fri = 3, Sat = 4, Sun = 5, Mon = 6
Now apply this week day value to all Months,
Feb 1st - Fri - 3
Mar 1st - Fri - 3
Apr 1st - Mon - 6
May 1st - Wed - 1
Jun 1st - Sat - 4
Jul 1st - Mon - 6
Aug 1st - Thu - 2
Sep 1st - Sun - 5
Oct 1st - Tue - 0
Nov 1st - Fri - 3
Dec 1st - Sun - 5
Try any year to find same result except the leap year. In Leap result should be changed.
