Stop Google Chrome running as background process in windows:
Even though, you have not opened chrome browser, it runs in your background as a process and takes huge memory size next to Firefox. You can view this in task manager.
Also you can see that the chrome.exe running as a startup process which you have not set. If you change settings in start up process, it will automatically adds chrome.exe as a startup process by itself and runs in the background when you start your system.
This cause your system performance very slow.
Solution:
* Open Chrome.
* Type chrome://settings/ in address bar.
* Search background.
* It will list the options,

* Uncheck "Continue running background apps when Google Chrome is closed"
Now, close the browser and check in Task Manager.
