These brain samples few are from healthy person and few of them have life-threatening brain disorders.

The patients undergone a variety of tests during his life time and then donate their brains to the brain library when they die.

Scanned images of brain slices are preserved digitally which helps the doctors to identify neurological diseases.

It also provide secrets behind human longevity.

Dr Jacopo Annese (Brain Observatory’s founder) says that the signs of serious brain related illnesses can be detected before they appearr using the wealth of information from the brain library.
