Unsolved Millennium Prize Problems in Mathematics
There are initially seven unsolved problems in mathematics,
Clay Mathematics Institute in 2000 announced an cash reward of
US $1,000,000 for anyone who solve those problems.
Grigori Perelman was awarded the Millennium Prize for solving "
Poincare conjecture" on March 18, 2010, which is one of the unsolved problem in millennium prize category. However, Perelman declined the award.
Of the 7, Six yet to be solved problems are,
- P versus NP
- Hodge conjecture
- Riemann hypothesis
- Yang–Mills existence and mass gap
- Navier–Stokes existence and smoothness
- Birch and Swinnerton-Dyer conjecture.
If you are math genius then, you could try this and win US $1,000,000 for each problem.
