Why Me

you are always there
your not my do I tell you
but when I turn around every moment of the day
there you are wagging your tail smiling

you are there when I get off the bus
when I eat we do everything possible together
you are my dinner date my dancing partner
you are my company at night my alarm clock in the morning

but why did you choose me why do you let me use you as a pillow
why do you whine and whimper when I’m sad or crying
because it is love you seek in people that’s all you ask.
love is all you want. and you found it in me.
