Taking Care of Your Feet
Feet are important part of our body and are used more than any other parts. Many people do not know how to take care of their feet and they start neglecting it which can cause severe problems. Whole day we do so much walking standing and therefore it is necessary that special care of feet should be taken to keep them fit and healthy. Here are some Do’s and Don’ts which one should follow regularly.
Do’s
* Always wipe the area between your toes while you are drying your feet.
* Daily wash your feet before sleeping, dry them and massage with good moisturizer.
* Use cotton socks whenever you are wearing shoes it will help feet remain cool throughout the day. It also helps in preventing bad odor.
* Go for walk daily as it is good for your health and proper blood circulation of feet.
* Wear the right footwear according to activity you do.
* You can use powder to keep you feet dry and bad odor.
* Keep your toe nails clean and cut them regularly.
* Use pumice stone for removing any hard or dead skin on your feet.
Don’ts
* Avoid applying cream or lotion between your toes as it can cause severe skin infection.
* Do no cut corners of toe nails this may hinder its growth in proper manner.
* Do not wear same shoes daily as it can cause skin irritation and infection too.
* You should not wear socks other than cotton as they will cause bad odor and make you uncomfortable too.
* Never ignore any sort of pain in your foot as later it can be dangerous.
* Tight socks should be avoided as they can stop blood circulation in your feet.
* Try not to wear high heels for long.
Follow below steps to reduce strain on your feet:
1. Dip your feet in warm water and soak them for few mins.
2. Take them out and apply soap and start massaging.
3. Now rub your feet with brush or use pumice stone to clean the dirt.
4. Put feet in warm water again and wash off all soap.
5. Take your feet out again & dry them completely.
6. Apply Moisturizer and relax.
