Tips for Dental Care
Teeth are the very important part of your body. Healthy teeth can help you to chew the foods and speak clearly. They can also help you to look best and let you enjoy a bright smile. Good dental care practices can protect you from dental disease, cavities and enjoy a healthy smile.
1. Use anti-bacterial mouth fresheners to keep hold of fresh feeling all through the day. Brush your teeth at least twice a day. When you brush, don’t rush. Take enough time to do a thorough job.
2. Try to stay away from food items that are high in sugar content as sugar aggravates teeth damage and the development of bacteria.
3. Floss (Threading) inner areas of teeth, and make sure you don’t hurt your gums while doing this. Waxed threads are also available for dental flossing which helps you remove plaque gentally.
Brushing Ways and Healthy Diet for Your Teeth
1. While brushing your teeth, ensure to clean your tongue so that you may prevent spreading of bacteria and keep hold of fresh breath.
2. Use a salty/fluoride toothpaste and a soft-bristled toothbrush. Be sure your brush is the right size.
3. Clean your mouth once brushing is complete and every time after you have had your food.
4. Eat fruits, green vegetables and drink plenty of water to maintain a balanced diet. This can help you in having a naturally strong and healthy set of teeth and gums.
Flossing (Cleaning) Tips for Good Teeth
Use your thumbs and forefingers to gently pull the floss (thread) from the gum line to the top of the tooth. Rub the floss against all sides of the tooth. Gently scrape the side of the tooth with the floss. Repeat this method on all your teeth. Move to a clean area of floss after one or two teeth.
