What Is Cataract

A cataract is a clouding of the lens in the eye that affects vision. Most cataracts are related to aging. Cataracts are very common in older people. A cataract can occur in either or both eyes. It cannot spread from one eye to the other.

Cause: Cataract disease is causes by several reasons such as swollen on eyes for long time, any problem in the structure of eye, injury in eye, things look black, split screen to eye, any serious vision defect, diabetes, arthritis, artery disease, kidney inflammation, over consumption of quinine, hemorrhoids Etc…

Types of cataract: Cataract is generally of two types:

1. Soft: Color of soft cataract is blue and can be occur between births to 30-35 ages.
2. Hard: Generally hard cataract is occurring in old age and color of your eyes becomes blurs and yellow.

According to Ayurveda cataract is six types:

1. Wajt cataract
2. Kfj cataract
3. Pittj cataract
4. Snnipatj cataract
5. Rktj cataract
6. Primlamin cataract

Remedies for Cataract:

* Rub Bhomseni Camphor (Kapur) in women’s Milk and applies regularly in starting state of cataract.
* Take light and large Pearl powder 3 gm, black Kohl 12 gm and rub it. Apply when you go to sleep.
* Take Chotti Pipal, Lahori Salt, Sea Foam and Black Pepper each 10-10 gm. Rub it in to 500 ml Rose essence and 200 gm black Kohl until all essence has been absorb. Now apply it in eyes every day.
* Take Honey 1 gm, black Salt 1 gm, Giloy juice 10 gm and grind it. Apply it every day in eyes like Kohl, Cataract is away.

Useful Tips:

Exercise your eyes in morning every day. Move eyes right-left and up-down at least 10-12 times.

Cataract patient should eat fresh Wheat bread. Drink Cow’s Milk without sugar. Amla, Fig (Anjeer), Sycamore (Gular) is more beneficial.

Fresh water splatters in the eyes every morning-evening. Cataract patients should not read in low or too high light.

Do not intake Dalda Ghee, mixed Oil, Meat, Fish and Egg. Avoid sour and spice Food.
