Aids Prevention
AIDS (Acquired immune deficiency syndrome) is a disease of the human immune system caused by the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). This condition progressively reduces the effectiveness of the immune system and leaves individuals susceptible to opportunistic infections and tumors.
Symptoms:
1. Symptoms of HIV infection may develop from 2 weeks to 2-3 months after the infection.
2. Symptoms like high fever, tiredness, enlarged glands, dry cough unrelated to smoking, bloody stools, weight loss, fungal infections, vomiting etc.
3. Some serious infections such as Herpes, Meningitis, Pneumonia, Cancers etc.
Aids Prevention :
1. Avoid sexual contact with HIV infected person.
2. Don’t have sexual relationship with prostitutes.
3. Avoid sexual relationship with multiple and anonymous partners.
4. Do not make oral and genital relation with partner’s blood, semen, vaginal secretions, feces or urine.
5. Do not share HIV infected person’s items like toothbrushes, razors, towel, clothes or other items.
6. Do not share needles and syringes which have been already used by HIV person
